After revealing the secrets of the new Plasma Cutter of Dead Space Remake, the authors of EA Motive describe the interventions made to reimagine and enrich the plot of the horror splatter that will see the light of the shops in January on PC and last generation consoles.
To the microphones of IGN.com, the developers of the Canadian software house explain that they have looked very carefully at the work done by the authors of the original title to include in the Remake of Dead Space many other narrative elements taken from the entire horror saga.
Most of the additions made to the story will be revealed to the player through ‘environmental storytelling’, for example recovering files in secret areas of a map with interconnected levels or witnessing new scenes between one fight and another with the scary creatures that inhabit this mining spaceship.
The narrative innovations will be parallel and complementary to the playful additions and, obviously, to the graphic improvements promised by EA Motive: whoever wants to recompose the puzzle of the plot, consequently, will be able to do so collecting all-new weapon upgradesdiscovering new areas and strenuously fighting against the deformed monsters that infest the ship.
The Dantesque group of USG Ishimura will reopen its doors on January 27th to welcome all those who want to relive Isaac Clarke’s space odyssey on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
