PlayStation Plus is offered at a discount price on the PlayStation Store. Sony sells the annual membership for all levels, including Essential, Extra and Premium, 30 euros cheaper.
The annual membership of PlayStation Plus usually costs around 60 to 120 euros. But every now and then there are offers that are significantly lower than this price.
Shortly after the Black Friday promotions, Sony began promoting a €30 discount when purchasing an annual membership in the PlayStation Store. The campaign should run until December 20, 2022.
The discount means that interested parties can complete the annual membership of PlayStation Plus Essential for 29.99 euros instead of 59.99 euros. Extra is available for 69.99 instead of 99.99 euros and Premium is offered for 89.99 instead of 119.99 euros.
The reduced membership is advertised on the PlayStation Store subscription page as well as in Offers section. Interested parties will be forwarded from there to another pagewhere they can claim the deal provided they see the discounted prices.
The price deduction apparently only applies to new customers and returning subscribers. However, customers have also reported in the past few hours that they have been able to “stack” their membership at a reduced price. Other players without a membership do not see the offer at all, so it is currently unclear which criteria really apply to the deal.
PlayStation Plus in December 2022
What is certain, however, is that some of the PS Plus games for December 2022 have been activated. That goes for the Essential additions that came out last Tuesday. An overview you can have a look here.
The new additions to Extra and Premium are expected to be announced on December 14, 2022 before their release on December 20, 2022.
The other advantages of PlayStation Plus are also impressive. This includes, among other things, the possibility of using the online and multiplayer features of numerous games on the PS4 and PS5. There are also features such as access to 100 GB of cloud storage for save data, additional discounts, exclusive betas and demos.
