If two years have passed since their launch, and a second version has been released, the FreeBuds Pro are wireless headphones that remain recommendable. They offer convincing features and functions, such as wireless and fast charging, or noise reduction. They have serious assets to please, especially after 110 euros of reduction.

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro are strongly reminiscent of the design of Apple’s true wireless. They are earphones with short stems, which are rectangular and very small, on which we also find the controls that are done via a simple pressure in addition to the controls of the touch zone. Noise reduction always up to par
The first generation also offers noise reduction. According to the brand, they are able to reduce up to 40 db of ambient noise, thanks to microphones located inside the headphones. In fact, the FreeBuds Pro manage to attenuate the surrounding noises, but do not manage to completely eliminate them. The mode named Dynamic Noise Cancellation is really practical to automatically adjust the level of the reduction according to your environment. There are also three modes to activate manually: cozy, general and ultra. A Perception mode is also available and amplifies outside sounds in order to hear what is happening around you.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro have 11 mm diameter speakers as well as the mechanical audio stabilization system, the sound is balanced and warm, but also more precise and avoids any tremor in the ear. And with Huawei’s app, you can improve and personalize the sound experience by analyzing your ear. And Huawei even incorporates a system to improve the sound of the voice during calls, as well as a bone conduction sensor. Finally, the FreeBuds Pro support SBC and AAC codecs, which is the bare minimum. No aptX, aptX HD or LDAC — be aware that the FreeBuds Pro 2 are LDAC compatible.
