The free games on PlayStation Plus Essential have been available since the beginning of the month, and now, as usual, Sony is adding the more expensive subscription levels in the middle of the month – with well-known titles.
Also in December, and thus in line with the upcoming Christmas holidays, Sony is now once again delivering a good deal of game fodder in the more expensive subscription levels Extra and Premium of PlayStation Plus. In addition to the well-known December games in PS Plus Essential, there are now numerous other titles for subscribers of these levels, above all from the well-known shooter series Far Cry from Ubisoft.
With PS Plus Extra in December there will be Far Cry 5, Far Cry Primal and Far Cry: New Dawn from December 20th on top. All are represented in the PS4 version, but are also compatible with the PS5, which means that shooter fans will get their money’s worth. But even far away from this series of games, there are well-known titles in the line-up.
You can also expect Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor or three additional Yakuza games.

Another addition to the extra tier has already been confirmed for early January. From January 3, 2023, the current wrestling title WWE 2K22 (PS4) will be added to subscribers.
