The most romantic class ever.
Six months ago, publisher THQ Nordic almost imperceptibly announced the turn-based strategy SpellForce Conquest of Eo. The developers of this project rarely please gamers with fresh publications, but today is just the exceptional case when the authors nevertheless became generous and demonstrated a necromancer – one of the available archetypes of the game’s hero.
As in all fantasy games, the necromancer is the ruler of death and is able to raise fallen warriors under his banner, who, after becoming undead, know neither fear, nor pain, nor suffering, but can only carry out the orders of their master. In other words, we have the black magician class most romanticized in popular culture.
It is worth noting, however, that although the army of the dead is obedient and useful, a lot of the necromancer’s magical powers are spent on maintaining it, so our hero cannot do without their replenishment in special magical sources.
