Today, as part of Season 3, the Battlefield 2042 development team is unveiling the new limited-time event Battle for Nordvik, which begins on December 20th and will offer a unique gameplay experience every week for three weeks.
The Battle for Nordvik event features a 32v32 variant of Conquest by Storm with fast-paced ground combat, and a 16v16 variant of Conquest called Retribution. Finally, the more intense Breakthrough Mayhem mode can be experienced on PC and next-gen consoles with up to 128 players.
You can earn ribbons weekly to unlock unique gameplay rewards for that week. In addition to these earnable rewards, the store also contains free bundles and two new paid bundles.
At the same time, the free access phase for “Battlefield 2042” will take place. From December 16th to December 24th, the game title can be played for free on the PlayStation platform. You will also have full access to the Battle for Nordvik event content.
