Epic Games has announced that it will disable online features for more than twenty of its older games, including several parts of Unreal Tournament and Rock Band. Some of them will stop working completely, while others will continue to be played offline if they remain in your library. Games are no longer available for purchase through digital stores, and online features will be disabled on January 24, 2023.

In addition, the Battle Breakers mobile game will be closed on January 30, 2023. Users who have spent real money in the last 180 days will automatically receive a full refund. Also, games such as Hatoful Boyfriend, Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star and mobile DropMix have disappeared from stores.
Along with the closure of old games, Epic Games announced Unreal Tournament 3 X. This is a special free version of the multiplayer first-person shooter Unreal Tournament 3, which will appear on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store with cross-play support. However, there will be no microtransactions in it.
