Ubisoft and Apple TV+ announced that the critically acclaimed hit comedy series Mythic Quest will expand its universe of beloved characters with Mere Mortals, a new eight-part series. The spin-off is co-directed by Ashly Burch, John Howell Harris and Katie McElhenney and produced by Megan Ganz, Rob McElhenney, David Hornsby and Charlie Day.
“Mere Mortals” will explore the lives of staff, players and fans affected by the game.
The new spinoff series builds on the acclaimed episodes of Mythic Quest, including the upcoming episode Sarian, which makes its global debut this Friday on Apple TV+; last year’s “Everlight,” last year’s special that received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Anthony Hopkins for Outstanding Narrator; “A Dark Quiet Death” from the first season; “Back Story!” from the second season of “Mythic Quest” season two; and the widely acclaimed standalone episode Mythic Quest: Quarantine.
