Synopsis
The monologue performed by Ivo Canelas and produced by H2N returns to Estúdio Time Out, after three sold-out seasons with more than 15,000 spectators. A show in which the actor invites the audience to participate, touchingly addressing topics such as depression, suicide, family and love. In this piece, which takes on an immersive character, a child writes, as he grows up, a list of reasons to live, with the aim of trying to help his mother recover from depression. “All Things Wonderful” was awarded as one of the 30 shows of the year by “Comunidade, Cultura e Arte” and Ivo Canelas was distinguished with the award for best solo performance by Guia dos Teatros2020. “A hymn to the simplicity of being happy. A hymn to love. A hymn to the harsh reality that is living. Thank you, Ivo Canelas, this piece was one of the wonderful things I can add to my list.” (João F.Ribeiro in Público) “For an hour we are all illuminated” (Rui Zink in Correio da Manhã).
