Thanks to the leak, we can see gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade, an open-world mobile game set in ancient China and currently in development by Ubisoft.
Announced in September, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade, featuring Marc-Alexis Cote, former Creative Director of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, is a particularly ambitious project for iOS and Android devices.
The footage shows some of what appears to be a siege: our hero walks along the fortified walls (Great Wall?), killing various enemies in order to protect his village, which is apparently the target of a hostile expedition.
On a technical level, the mobile nature of the product seems quite obvious, although the overall quality leaves much to be desired. But this is not the final build of the game, so over time things will change for the better.
