Series «Like Wens» Tim Burton became one of the hits Netflix, hitting the second line in the top popular English-language shows. Its continuation is thus practically guaranteed. And, as reported Deadlinework on it has already started.
So far, the producers are negotiating with the writers who should join the film crew, and at the same time choose locations to continue the story of Wednesday Addams. Presumably, direct work on the second season will start in January 2023.
The series is in an unusual position. Although Netflix is its “home”, it will be created by Amazon. The company bought a film studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and now it’s called Amazon Studios. However, this should not affect the status of “Wednesday” in any way: Amazon is ready to work even with direct competitors.
The showrunners for Wednesday reported that they had thought through the storylines from the very beginning, all the way up to the third or fourth seasons.
