The update to the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt not only improves the graphics of the CD Projekt RED game, but also introduces some new content such as those related to Netflix TV series. The developers have included a special quest in the game that allows you to get the same armor worn by Henry Cavill.
The first step to getting the armor is to accept the titled side quest In the shadow of the eternal fire: go to Many and reach the entrance of the Pit of the Devil (in the image below you find the location on the map), where a man will ask you to clear the area of some Level 9 enemies.
After eliminating every single threat outside the mine and having opened its entrance, enter the cave and continue until you reach the first larger area: turn right and climb over the rock to access a room with a purple light source in which hides the first of a series of letters whose sender is Reinald, a former Witcher. Go down and collect the second letter, fixed to a wooden door with a knife. Using i Witcher Sensescontinue north analyzing all the traces and then enter the small room on the left with a blue glow, in which you can use the lampada in Keira to relive past events and find out more details about what happened there. Now exit the room and go down the stairs continuing up to a crossroads: here you can choose whether to go right or left with consequences on the difficulty of the final battle of the mission, which will be more accessible for those who go left.
Retrieve the purple glyph and continue on tunnels illuminated in red until you reach a wooden bridge: before reaching the glyph, jump on the handhold to the left of the bridge to interact with the chest and collect the first project of the set dedicated to the Netflix series. Return to the bridge, cross it and collect the Glyph and then destroy the brick wall with a Sign, behind which there is a clue to be analyzed on the wall. Continue until you reach the red lit plant, interact with the monstrous creature and then go straight until you enter a larger room. Go forward to the room that continues on the left, where there is another Glyph: turn left and jump to reach the laboratory on the other side. The door to the left of the laboratory will allow you to reach the top of the large room you entered earlier, so you can jump onto the wooden planks and continue on your way into the cave, which will lead you to another Glyph and the Reinald’s fourth letter.
Just before the Glyph there was a crossroads: turn right to reach a room with several enemies and eliminate them all. Climb up the wooden wall to the south and destroy the door left with a Sign to access the room it hides another letter from Reinald (the second). Exit the room and continue towards the red lit plant, go all the way and drop off the wooden platform. Take out the enemy and continue down the corridor and then proceed to the right at the fork, which will lead you to a room full of enemies. Cleared the area, continue your path along the stairs until you reach a big red dooron which Reinald’s fifth letter hangs.
At this point, open the door and use a Mark on the corpse at the back of the room to trigger a movie. If you made the potion you found in a room earlier, you’ll have a better chance of making it against the possessed version of Reinald. Defeat the Witcher and then the creature that has taken possession of his body: at the end of the fight, you will start talking to the ghost of the Witcher, who will give you all blueprints from the Forgotten Wolf set.
It should be specified that this is just one of many ways to complete this missionbut if your goal is simply to get the set, you can avoid paying too much attention to the letters and the fate of Reinald.
