Square Enix announced that pixel remasters of the first six games in the series Final Fantasy will come to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch spring 2023.
Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI will be available both separately and in one collection.
Along with the digital versions, physical editions will also be on sale, standard and Final Fantasy 35th Anniversary Editionwhich will be available exclusively from the Square Enix Store.
The Anniversary Edition includes an artbook, pixel-art figurines, a vinyl soundtrack, and more. The number of disc versions of both editions will be limited.
The pixelated remasters of the first six Final Fantasy are currently only available on PC, iOS and Android. The release of five games took place last year, at different times, and FF VI came out earlier this year.
