The great success of High On Life on Microsoft platforms is certainly not a surprise. The Squanch Games shooter immediately stood out for its marked irreverence and for an out-of-the-ordinary cast of characters that they seasoned the adventure with gags of absolute hilarity.
For example, after pausing the game, we will see the talking weapon Kenny get impatient and start insulting the player without too many censorships, as documented in the video below, published on the British GameRiot channel:
“What the f****, why did you pause the game? It doesn’t help! Are you an idiot by any chance?”
“What damn game does the pause button let you shoot? Press any button, something’s gotta work! Is this your first game ever?”
On the other hand, we could not expect anything else from the team led by Justin Roiland, father of Rick and Morty. Think, it was the same developers a warn fans regarding the presence of some risqué scenes within High On Life.
