Aroged, Jakarta – Who doesn’t know this HP brand? Samsung in its heyday was once the best cellphone brand because of its body which was made with good quality materials. Apart from that, the HP UI which is quite friendly is also the reason why this brand was enjoyed enough before being replaced with One UI, although some consider Samsung’s One UI to be the best HP UI to date.
But over time Samsung mobile phones are now experiencing a decline in quality. It can be seen that many users have complained about problems with their devices, and these problems are dominated by screens such as LCDs that leak easily, green lines appear, and so on. As well as the performance which is considered slower, especially on Samsung cellphones that use the Exynos SoC.
Performance Considered Slow, Samsung Will Retire Its Chipset, Exynos
Reporting from Android Police, Exynos, which has been attached to Samsung for a long time, will recently be retired and replaced with a SoC that is faster in terms of performance. This SoC or System on Chip will reportedly also be designed by the Samsung division itself.
Samsung has long been independent in marketing its products, as evidenced by the creation of their own chipset or SoC, called Exynos, even though many of their products also use Qualcomm or Snap Dragon. But lately, many users have complained about the performance of the Exynos chipset, which is so slow. Hearing this complaint, Samsung finally took the initiative to replace their SoC.

Exynos is a chipset made by Samsung through the LSI System division, while their replacement will be designed by their new MX or Mobile eXperience team which is still under the same umbrella as Samsung. MX Development will be chaired by Choi Won Joon who has worked with Samsung since 2016 and Qualcomm.
Chipset Exynos
That’s why he was entrusted with the creation of this new SoC. Due to the same auspices with Samsung, this is also done by Google with the Tensor chip and Apple with their A Series. Samsung has yet to confirm when this chipset will be mass produced. It is reported that Samsung’s newest SoC will be used on the Samsung Galaxy S25.
Even though LSI System will no longer manufacture their chipsets in the future, they will then shift their focus to producing chips for motor vehicles.
