In the first days of January, the consumer electronics exhibition CES 2023 starts. It will host many interesting announcements from the world of computer hardware, including presentations by leading developers of central and graphic processors. For example, AMD and Nvidia have already decided on the exact time.
The Nvidia event kicks off on November 3rd at 18:00 Kyiv time. At this point, the chipmaker will publish a pre-prepared video presentation. Apparently, there will be no speech by the head of Nvidia, Jensen Huang. As for the new hardware, the company should introduce the GeForce RTX 40 series mobile video adapters, as well as the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, which was previously known as the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB.
AMD has scheduled a live broadcast of CEO Lisa Su’s speech. It will start on January 5th at 4:30 am Kyiv time. According to preliminary information, we are waiting for the debut of 65-watt Ryzen 7000 chips for the AM5 platform, mobile processors based on the Zen 4 architecture and, possibly, new 3rd generation RDNA video adapters.
Intel Corporation also announced plans to take part in CES 2023, however, the exact time of the presentation has not yet been announced. Its program will include the announcement of 65-watt 13th generation Core CPUs, the flagship Core i9-13900KS processor, and a scattering of Raptor Lake processors for laptops. In other words, the beginning of January will be busy for all three chipmakers.
