The 13-inch MacBook Air and Macbook Pro were released in 2022 with the M2 processor. But heavy users want something more, and look forward to the M2 Pro and M2 Max.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors could be launched as early as next year.
New MacBook Pro expected in early 2023
Remember that these models would still be released during this year. But Apple will have decided to push them to 2023, according to this source.
For those who expect noteworthy changes, it is better to calm expectations. Mark Gurman says that “big changes” are not expected in these 14 and 16-inch models.
What will be improved is the option for users to buy laptops with more powerful processors, with even faster RAM.
It should be remembered that the 14 and 16-inch MacBooks currently have an M1 Pro and M1 Max processor, and were launched in 2021. They bet on a renewed design, and have the controversial notch on the screen.
These also brought back the MagSafe port for magnetic charging, and the HDMI and SD card ports that Apple had abandoned since 2016.
The same source says that an iMac with an M3 processor could be launched “at least by the end of 2023”.
