French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who came on as a second-half substitute, has become the youngest participant in the 2022 World Cup final at 20 years 38 days. He became the 10th player to play in the decisive matches of the World Cup at the age of less than 21 years. And younger than Camavinga, only three played in the finals and all of the champion teams – Brazilian Pele, Italian Giuseppe Bergomi and compatriot Eduardo Kylian Mbappe.
