Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi, who is currently playing on loan for Turkish Galatasaray, addressed the captain of the Argentina national team, Lionel Messi, regarding the team’s victory at the 2022 World Cup.
“Congratulations, Leo! Nobody deserves this cup more than you. You fought for him for a long time and received a reward.
Also congratulations to everyone who is part of this wonderful team. I am pleased that once I was also a part of it and shared wonderful moments with it. Go Argentina!” Icardi wrote on his Instagram.
Earlier, Lionel Messi’s plans for a future career in the Argentina national team became known.
