Square Enix Japan has announced a “Prototype Test” for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link scheduled from 13 to 18 January 2023 in Japan, only for owners of iOS devices enrolled in the Square Enix Members program.
Of all the applications received 1,000 players will be selected, the necessary requirements include residence in Japan, a minimum age of 18 and acceptance of the conditions of the test program. At the moment we do not know if this test will also be extended to the West, to date it has only been confirmed for the Japanese market, we look forward to learning more.
Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is a new adventure that will take us to explore the city of Stairway to Heaven, which we first saw in Kingdom Hearts III. There are not many other details on this production, we know that the title is being developed for iOS and Android mobile devices, versions for PC and consoles do not seem to be planned.
Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will be released in the course of 2023, Square Enix has also released a new artwork which you can see below. With Missing-Link the universe of Kingdom Hearts expands again which, especially on mobile, is particularly vast and has seen the release of many exclusive titles for smartphones and tablets.
