There are only a few days left before saying goodbye to the year 2022. It is therefore time to recap the most recurring Google searches in France during the last twelve months. We find a lot of evidence, but also some nuggets.

Here, no real surprise, because we find in first and third position “Ukraine” and “Russia”. The conflict in Ukraine began in March 2022, and continues today, although it does not receive the same media coverage. Vladimir Putin gleans first place, followed by Will Smith with his already cult slap on Chris Rock during the Oscars ceremony. The third and fourth places are taken by Elisabeth Borne, Prime Minister of the country, and Marine Le Pen.
