Battlefield 2042 is currently in the middle of its third season, but preparations for Season 4 are already in full swing. A special focus is of course again on the fresh map, which should be introduced with each new season. The developers have already published some artwork for this, which shows an orphaned industrial complex from the inside and outside. The map should be kept relatively small in order to make entertaining and linear confrontations possible.

When does Battlefield 2042 season 4 start?
There is currently no exact date for the start of Season 4, there is only talk of “early 2023”. Based on the previous process and the information that the current season will last 14 instead of twelve weeks, the starting shot can be expected in mid to late February. In addition to the map shown, there will be a new specialist and various fresh weapons. Of course, the next Battle Pass will then also be launched, with which skins for the specialists and other goodies can be unlocked.

Before Season 4 starts, new content is still waiting for the current season. The so-called “Battle for Nordvik” is currently running, a three-week event that will offer a new game variant every seven days. It starts with a conquest attack, in which 32 soldiers compete against each other. A small story is told over the holidays, in which the troops of “Black Storm” try to infiltrate the Swedish Nordvik, while the “Nordvik Control Corps” oppose the aggressors.
