Nothing, the English technology brand with transparent products, would be working on something new to release under a new name.
The English brand Nothing sounds like it doesn’t have much to do. Since the brand was founded by Carl Pei of OnePlus, its popularity has exploded. For example, no less than a million transparent products, typical of Nothing’s house style, were sold: the Nothing Phone (1), the Nothing Ear (1) and Nothing Ear (Stick). Reportedly, a few more pairs of wireless earphones would soon be added, but they would not be released by the brand itself.
Particles by XO
The rumors come from Kuba Wojciechowksi, who informed 91mobiles about his find. Wojciechowski discovered a peculiarity in the firmware of a number of devices. It would always refer to a brand that is currently unknown: ‘Particles by XO’. There is a possibility that this brand will be founded to market wireless earphones independently of Nothing.
Wojciechowski not only comes with the news that a new company or brand would be founded, but can immediately show what its first product will be. The exact name of the product is not yet known. However, based on the first images, it is a pair of wireless earphones with a rather rounded shape, as if inspired by a peanut. Also noteworthy is that the ‘bone’ of the earphones is not directed downwards. An error in the first images that should be reversed? Or will this be the way they sit in your ear?

One thing is certain: the ‘Particles by XO’ product shown here has a completely different design than the other Nothing products. The fact that a new brand is being set up for this does not really come as a surprise. We can be sure that there are links between Nothing and Particles by XO. The XO earphones that should be released soon are codenamed ‘B154’. It is no coincidence that the successor to the Nothing Ear (1), Ear (2), would have code ‘B155’. The fact that the products are related is therefore virtually a certainty.
