In October 2020 the time had come: Asmongold announced via stream the founding of a new organization called One True King (short: OTK). Together with his buddies Mizkif, TipsOutBaby, Rich Campbell and Esfand he wanted to build a network of friends, a kind of lifestyle organization – with concentrated WoW and streaming expertise.

Rich Campbell is no longer part of OTK
Fast forward a little over two years. Currently, it looks like OTK is slowly but surely falling apart. In September 2022, Mizkif was put on leave by the other co-founders after Twitch colleagues claimed that the streamer covered up sexual assault by a friend and made racist and homophobic comments (source).
On December 17, 2022, Rich Campbell left OTK. The day before, Twitch streamer Azalia Lexi had published a TwitLonger post in which she made serious allegations of rape against Campbell, among other things. Rich’s reaction followed on Twitter the same day: “I have read the statements made against me today. I will present my views but I need some time to gather my thoughts. OTK asked me to to step down from my post and I have agreed. I will be providing an update soon.”

Asmongold distances itself from the OTK co-founder
Rich Campbell had built up a certain fan base over the years as a caster, streamer and Allcraft host. Some of those fans reacted to the allegations with skepticism and demanded proof. According to one Tweet of December 19, 2022 Azalia Lexi is said to have received death threats.
Asmongold’s reaction was much more level-headed. In a short statement he explained: “You are not on our team, you are not helping us and you are doing us and nobody else a favor by calling a girl who is going public with a story like this a liar. Me I’ve read a lot of the comments, on twitter et cetera and I’ve seen a lot of people saying it’s not true that she’s making it all up please don’t do that you’re not our fans you’re not on our side. We’re on their side. That’s why Rich’s gone.”

In the short excerpt you can see that Asmongold is affected by the situation. A little later he also interrupted the stream because he couldn’t think straight anymore and needed some time for himself. Whether this incident will affect OTK itself, only time will tell. Tips out gives himself on Twitter short: “I need some time now. Do my best.”
