More than two years ago, developer 11 bit Studios released Paws and Claws, a very special DLC for the roguelike Children of Morta. But the expansion doesn’t even really stand out for its content. You can now also behave as an animal shelter and various creatures will randomly run towards you. Instead, Paws and Claws sets itself apart in that all proceeds go to charity. The developers have now published a first projection and revealed the sum collected so far. It’s a sight to behold!

Accordingly, whopping 300,000 US dollars have come together. This impressive amount has so far gone to the organization Humane Society International. Their goal is to campaign for animal welfare around the world. She has also recently launched aid programs for street animals in Ukraine who are in need due to the ongoing war.
This news is really heartwarming in the cold winter months. 11 bit Studios will continue to pass on their revenues from Paws and Claws to the organization Humane Society International.
