Slitherine released the video with the second installment of The Geek Recipethe format that brings together cooking and video games, and which can count in this case on the presence as a guest of David Solianithe director of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.
After the debut episode with Raphael Colantonio, The Geek Recipe sees in this case the chief marketing officer of Slitherine, Marco Minoli, interacting with Davide to cook Saltimbocca alla Romana.
The two immediately get to work and obviously discuss the recent success of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, which had the merit of introducing a large number of innovations compared to the first episode and to the turn-based strategy genre in general.
Davide then reveals the work behind the series, the number of prototypes made before the initial pitch of Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and his personal career in the gaming industry, starting with Rayman and Jungle Book Adventure.
Of course there was no shortage of background on the meeting between Davide and Shigeru Miyamoto: the Italian game director was sure that his prototypes would have been rejected, and instead with great surprise the legendary game designer said he was very impressed by their work.
