A few weeks after the announcement of The Perceiver, the interesting project with gameplay mechanics inspired by large productions such as Shadows Die Twice ax e Ghost of Tsushima it was shown in a long film complete with a comment from the developers.
By viewing the gameplay video, we can learn numerous news about the game mechanics, which are strongly inspired by the popular FromSoftware action. Just like the Wolf, the protagonist of The Perceiver can use a grappling hook to move easily around the scenarios and hit the enemy both stealthily and more blatantly. The combat system itself closely resembles that of Sekiro Shadows Die Twice and, in addition to being based on the parry and on counterattacksallows the player to come back to life after a defeat thanks to the mechanic of resurrection. During the long gameplay session played on PC, the developers showed both a boss fight that you fight against small groups of enemies, while also highlighting how difficult it is to keep multiple opponents at bay at once. The video also confirms the possibility of intervening on theaesthetics of the protagonistwhose clothes are different in the various moments of gameplay shown.
For the uninitiated, Project The Perceiver does not yet have a release date and the reference platforms are only PC, PlayStation 4 e PlayStation 5.
