Honor quietly launched the Honor X5 this Thursday (22) in selected parts of the global market. The device is yet another bet by the brand in the basic sector, offering features such as a 6.5-inch screen with HD+ resolution and a notch in the shape of a drop of water at the top for the 5 MP selfie camera.
The back panel features a leather texture and houses a square camera module, with an 8MP sensor and an LED flash. 1080p video recording is supported. The device does not have a fingerprint reader, but it does have facial recognition.
The platform here is a MediaTek Helio G25, com GPU PowerVR GE8320🇧🇷 It works with just 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. The 5,000 mAh battery is more than enough to power the set, running the basic Android 12 Go system.
Connectivity options on the Honor X5 include a micro USB port, 3.5mm jack, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and dual SIM.
The Honor X5 is offered in Sunrise Orange, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black colors — or, better, orange, blue and black. As a reference, the cell phone is being sold for 75 dinars in Jordan – something equivalent to R$ 550.
