It is noteworthy that the street where the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center of the National Committee for Sports of the Disabled of Ukraine is located is called the Street of Equal Rights and Opportunities.
And here it is worth saying special thanks to Valery Sushkevich, President of the National Committee for Sports of the Disabled of Ukraine, for the fact that we have the opportunity to hold the championship here.
The efforts that Valery Mikhailovich is making to ensure that the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center works and can provide for those living here are simply titanic.
The war deprived many athletes of their homes, bases for training, health, but they found refuge here.
A powerful rehabilitation team has been helping to restore the health of our fighters for many years.
The center has developed unique techniques that adapt to everyday life, those who have lost their sight, limbs, and impaired musculoskeletal system.
And that is why this championship is not only about medals. First of all, it is about indestructibility and Victory, which all Ukrainians are waiting for. And the fans expect victories from the athletes.
