Hideo Kojima came back to talk about Overdose in an interview with IGN.com, in which he explained how Microsoft she was the only one who really understood the project, which she had been thinking about for about six years.
During the interview Kojima defined the game he is developing exclusively for Xbox as “unusual”, then explained what it was born from. Basically, the Japanese designer tends to get bored easily by always doing the same things and he likes the continuous technological evolution of video games, from which he draws creative sap.
Precisely from this Overdose was born: “I spent five or six years on the project we are working on with Microsoft. It requires infrastructure that had never been needed before, so I talked about it with many big companies, presenting it, but but they took me for mad.In the end it was Microsoft who proved by to understand and now we’re working on it together, including on the technology front.”
What to add? We are increasingly curious to know what it is. Overdose has been revealed to be an Xbox exclusive and will be cloud-based. A stolen gameplay video also surfaced, however never confirmed.
