On Friday in the village of Yavoriv, Lviv region. the first part of the winter biathlon championship of Ukraine continued.
In the pursuit race, which took place under difficult weather conditions, Ruslan Tkalenko, who started from fourth place, became the winner. He worked better than all his rivals at the shooting range and won very confidently with three penalty loops.
Denis Nasiko broke into second position after an unsuccessful sprint, Vitaly Mandzin took bronze.
Note that only 23 participants entered the track compared to 44 athletes in the sprint. Including there were no winners of the sprint race.
