Konami has rolled out a new update for the current football video game eFootball 2023 for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
The content of the update includes an update of squads for certain Campeonato Brasileiro clubs (Brazilian league), various data for players, coaches, kits and more.
The developer also made gameplay adjustments and fixes like dribbling or passing.

Bug fixes and gameplay adjustments
Players will no longer get separated from the ball as often when making physical contact with an opponent while dribbling. Improved controllability after a sharp acceleration. Adjustments to body contacts so the shield action only triggers at a certain distance from the opponent. When entering a Ball Contact command and a Shield command while in possession of the ball, the Ball Contact command is now prioritized to reduce ball loss by prioritizing the Shield command.
Entering a pass command will now choose a more appropriate receiver based on the direction input and power gauge. Deadly passes are now played into spaces where defenders are less able to intercept the ball, depending on the positions and direction of movement of opposing players. High ball receivers will now move to an appropriate position more quickly. As a result, adjustments have been made so that when controlling the ball at certain speeds, these command input combinations no longer affect the direction of upcoming ball contact and the player immediately crosses on the next contact.
Adjustments to trigger conditions for blocking moves when defending shots or crosses. Fixed the man marking issue that caused unnatural player positioning when opponents attacked deep in their own half. Fixed an issue with offside decisions where if a foul occurred immediately after an offside, the foul would be prioritized so that the foul would be penalized instead of the offside. Fixed an issue in vs. AI games where AI team “set” actions sometimes appear unnatural in defensive situations. Fixed an issue that caused players with the Defensive Player playstyle to position themselves abnormally far into the opposing half in offensive scenarios, even if all opposing players themselves have moved far back. Fixed an issue that caused players with the Defensive Player playstyle to chase the ball-carrying opponent well into the opposing half in Defensive Scenarios. Players with the Hanging Point playstyle will now shift further onto the wings in defensive scenarios to recapture the ball.

General fixes to mitigate or eliminate the following errors
