A certain municipal deputy from St. Petersburg, Nikita Yuferev, petitioned the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, as well as the head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, with a request to check Putin’s speech at the last press conference.
According to yuferov, Putin can be “brought to legal responsibility for spreading fakes about the actions of the Russian army” for certain statements. The deputy said that “several thousand people have already been convicted for such words about the war.”
Literally, Putin during his public speech stated the following: “Our goal is not to spin this flywheel of a military conflict, but, on the contrary, to end this war, we are striving for this and will continue to strive.”
