Despite the shortage of PlayStation 5 units and Xbox Series X continues not to stop, the newborn Sony home console continues to produce rather positive results on eastern soil. In the last few hours, in fact, the new sales data have shown a rather positive picture also for the next-gen branded PlayStation.
In detail, the new reports from Japan show the reaching over 70,000 units placed and sold in Japan, which shows that there are starting to be signs of recovery by the videogame giant on the front of adaptation to the great demand for hardware. This can only bode well for the advent, in terms of productions coming out in the future, of a pure next-gen, even if Sony itself competes for the eastern market with Nintendo’s hybrid console.

However, on the next-gen theme, the software side has also achieved great results: the last few weeks have also been characterized by the release of the recent Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion, which has become the best-selling title on PlayStation 5 – in recent days – in Japan.
