Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku released an interview in which studio head and executive producer Masayoshi Yokoyama spoke with Riki Takeuchione of the voice actors of the remake Like a Dragon: Were!.
remake Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin! is not the first time RGG has collaborated with Takeuchi. In the past, the actor has appeared in Yakuza 0where he played Hiroki Awano.
В Like a Dragon: Were! Takeuchi reincarnated as a character named Takeda Kanryusai. In the original, this role was played by another actor, Shun Sugata. Takeuchi admitted that he is good at dialects, as well as villain characters, because he himself is still kind in life.
