The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the quarantine to prevent the spread of COVID-19 until the end of April 2023. This was announced by the Permanent Representative of the CMU in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk in his Telegram channel.
“The state of emergency has been extended for the unified state system of civil protection throughout Ukraine until 04/30/2023. The quarantine has also been extended throughout Ukraine until 04/30/2023.
It is noted that the relevant regulatory changes have been made to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 25, 2020 No. 338 and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 09, 2020 No. 1236, which regulate epidemiological restrictions due to COVID-19.
In Ukraine, quarantine to counteract the spread of coronavirus was introduced on March 12, 2020. In the future, it was repeatedly extended, and in the summer of 2021, adaptive quarantine was introduced. The last time the government extended quarantine in Ukraine until December 31, 2022. The corresponding decision was made in August this year.
