Recently there was a real first in the long history of World of Warcraft. For the first time, the Blizzard developers presented us with a comprehensive roadmap listing all of the content updates for the coming year. Specifically, we can expect the two major patches for the respective start of season 2 and season 3. These will in turn be flanked by two smaller updates each, which should also be used to introduce exciting features into the game.

First of all, Asmongold is happy that Blizzard has finally managed to offer a reasonable roadmap for WoW (buy now) after such a long time. Mainly because the announcements and information that can be drawn from the roadmap are already excellent to read. However, Asmongold hopes that Blizzard will stay on the ball here and continue to deliver such content regularly beyond 2023.

In his opinion, a big problem with WoW in recent years (Battle for Azeroth and Shadowlands) was that a lot of people got through the content too quickly and then they moved on to other games. The content drought periods were just too long.
In Legion, the developers recently managed to put constant updates online at a sufficiently fast rate. Asmongold acknowledges that not all Legion features worked.
