December 24th, 2022 at 10:15 a.m. by Maximilian Hohm – According to the latest leaks, the images presented by MLID of the RTX Titan are said to be fake. The real Titan, on the other hand, should use a different cooler with three fans. What exactly it should look like and what exact specifications Nvidia will give it is still unknown. Read more about this below.
Just a few days ago we reported on the latest rumor about Nvidia’s possible Titan RTX. This should therefore use a full expansion or at least a significantly larger AD102 with 48 gigabytes of graphics memory. The leaker “Moore’s Law is Dead” had previously allegedly leaked real images of the graphics card reminiscent of the cooler design of the Geforce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090. Among the highlights of the leaks were the two 12VHPWR connectors, a quad-slot design of the cooler, and the gold elements on the cooler.

However, the leaker “kopite7kimi” has now commented on the facts and described the uploaded images from MLID as “totally fake”. According to him, Nvidia is actually working on a Titan RTX, but it looks very different. Instead of using the same cooler design as the RTX 4090 and using the golden accents to differentiate it, the Titan RTX is apparently supposed to use a cooler with a triple-fan design, as currently found on AMD’s MBA cards, for example can be.
On the other hand, he did not comment on the exact expansion of the Titan RTX and the rumored specifications of the graphics card. So it is still unclear whether the AD102 GPU of the Titan RTX will really offer a full expansion with 18,432 FP32 ALUs or a slightly slimmed down AD102-450 with 18,176 FP32 ALUs. The price is also still unknown, although based on the last RRP of 2,749 euros in Germany for the predecessor model, a significant price increase compared to the other Geforce models must be assumed.
