The creators of the online survival game with dinosaurs ARK: Survival Evolved announced the imminent premiere of an animated series based on the game. And backed up the news with the debut trailer of the first season ARK: The Animated Series.
A film adaptation project of a popular game draws the attention of a host of stars involved in scoring and work. The project is executive produced by Vin Diesel, Gerard Butler and Russell Crowe. Screenplay by Marguerite BennettBatman: Joker’s Daughter, X-Men: Years of Future Past) and Kendall Deacon Davis (Honor of Kings).
In the list of voice actors we see Monica Bellucci, Gerard Butler, Malcolm McDowell, Elliot Page, David Tennant, Alan Tudyk, Karl Urban, Michelle Yeoh, Russell Crowe, Vin Diesel and many others.
According to the plot, the heroine Madeleine Madden (“Wheel of Time”), 21st-century paleontologist Helena Walker is resurrected on a mysterious primeval earth after a tragedy. Here she must learn to survive, find new allies, discover the true nature of the strange world – or perish again at the hands of ruthless warlords.
The animated series ARK: The Animated Series will be released in 2023, the platform has not yet been announced.
