Why is Dead Island 2 set in Los Angeles, which, as you know, is not an island? The game developers explained this in an interview with Game Informer, talking about how the city is in lockdown after the zombie invasion.
Dead Island 2 will release on April 28, 2023 and will be set in Los Angeles because “there’s so much scope and potential here, not just in terms of scenarios, but also in terms of characters, environments and the zombies themselves,” said the design director Adam Duckett.
