Are you enjoying the December free games for PlayStation Plus Essential and the December news for Extra and Premium? We’re sure so, but you’ll be happy to know that Sony’s subscription service hasn’t yet run out of surprises for this very rich 2022.
Before the end of the year, the announcement of the January 2023 free games for PlayStation Plus Essential is expected. The new selection, which according to a leak could be composed of Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Fallout 76 and Axion Verge 2, will be confirmed by Sony at 17:30 on December 28th. However, to play them you will have to wait a few more days, six days to be exact, since the free games of January will be made available for download starting from Tuesday January 3, 2023. Since then you will have about a month to add them to your collectiongiven that on day 7 of the following month they will be replaced by the new free games of February 2023. With PlayStation Plus it is difficult to get bored, since the replacement of games is continuous and constant.
In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy December’s PlayStation Plus Essential games, which certainly leave nothing to be desired in terms of longevity. We refer in particular to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which contains in a single package Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3 and all the expansions of the history of the three BioWare sci-fi RPGs, for a mountain of hours that can easily exceed a hundred. They’re not even kidding the open world action RPG Biomutant and the new platform fighting game Divine Knockout, a free-to-play launched directly in PlayStation Plus accompanied by the contents of the Founder’s Edition. If you are also subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, then we imagine you are very busy, since the two additional plans have just welcomed a load of games, including PS4 / PS5 titles such as Far Cry 5, WWE 2K22 and Yakuza : Like a Dragon, and older classics like Heavenly Sword.
