Become the boss of your own construction company: In two fictional towns (USA and Germany) you take on a large number of campaign and side assignments. These range from road repairs to renovations to new construction. All individual construction steps are precisely specified and require the correct equipment from the local vehicle dealer. You can buy or rent over 70 vehicles such as excavators, bulldozers or cranes from well-known brands such as MAN or Caterpillar. You can switch between driving and function mode using the ring menu. In the latter, for example, you operate boom arms, excavator shovels or crane hooks with analog sticks. This requires getting used to in order to control the various axes in a targeted manner.
This is how you shovel, level and concrete paths or driveways. In addition, you need trucks with loading areas or trailers to bring material from the construction yard. Alternatively, collect your bulk material from the gravel works. On the streets, annoying speed cameras and navigation arrows that sometimes lead in the wrong direction. Of the Bau-Simulator has two graphics modes (30 or 60 unstable fps) and switchable VSync. It’s also nice that four players can cooperatively become construction workers.
