Previously released rumors indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE would have been canceled, but it seems that the South Korean giant has changed its mind.
Today it is news that the model could be launched after the S23 premium series is revealed and that it will bring with it some interesting attributes.
Samsung will only present Galaxy S22 FE after the Galaxy S23 series reveal event
The Samsung Galaxy S22 FE has recently gone through a kind of “chronicle of an announced death”. Several different sources claimed that the South Korean giant, this year, would not launch this model on the market.
But it looks like Samsung has different plans. Today, user Connor of the social network Twitter hinted that the brand will launch the model and that it will be presented simultaneously with the Buds2 Live headphones. Some sources have already rushed to say that this will be the last Fan Edition model of a Galaxy S series.
For its part, Samsung does not deny or confirm the existence of the Galaxy S22 FE, but leaker RGcloudS advances that the model will only be presented after the Unpacked event dedicated to the premium Galaxy S23 series.

This leaker also claims that on the same occasion, Samsung will also unveil the Galaxy Tab S8 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 series. If all this information is confirmed, the South Korean giant would join in another great presentation the Galaxy S22 FE smartphone, the Buds 2 Live headphones and the Galaxy Tab S8 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 tablets.
According to rumors, this presentation will only take place after February 2023, when it will unveil its new premium Galaxy S23 series.
Samsung Galaxy S22 FE will replace the canceled Galaxy A74
These sources also confirm the information that Samsung has canceled the launch of the mid-range model Galaxy A74. According to leaker RGcloudS, the Galaxy S22 FE replaces exactly this model in the brand’s portfolio.
For that reason, the Galaxy S22 FE is expected to be priced at approximately the cost of the Galaxy A73 at the time of its release.
As for the technical specifications, according to rumors, the Galaxy S22 FE could arrive equipped with the Exynos 2200 SoC processor, proprietary to the brand, or with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.
Other sources also say that this Fan Edition variant will feature the ISOCELL HM6 sensor in its rear camera configuration, produced by Samsung and which has 108 megapixels of resolution.
