Where Mario is on it, there is no Miyamoto in it: the pinball machine Super Mario Ball comes from the English developer Fuse Games, who takes Princess Peach to a spherical dimension. That’s why Mario can be squeezed and rolls over 30 screen-sized pinball tables, which are connected to each other through numerous tunnels. You look at the playing field at an angle and marvel at the first-class graphics, Ball Mario and the jumping mushroom monsters are great animated. There are missions to be completed on each screen, for which you collect stars.
However, the tasks are not exactly complex: Shoot a handful of monsters off the track or onto one or more switch fields – the star often tumbles into the field before you have grasped the task. Because you will only find a few obstacles: you will look in vain for a bumper labyrinth, elevated railways and other complex structures of conventional pinball machines. Of course, there are also some boss fights, multiball extras and mini-games like slot machines: pinball fans are used to discovering and unlocking all of this on one table. is easy Super Mario Ball but not, because the linked tables require stamina. Motivating like the monster hunt in Pokémon Pinball is not the hodgepodge.
It’s a shame: the pinball machine has a lot of tables, but there isn’t much going on there.
