A bit like every time a new actor is chosen to embody a character from the Batman license, the announcement of Robert Pattinson in the costume of the Dark Knight has caused a lot of ink to flow. Between those who only saw him as Edward Cullen from Twilight, those who hadn’t seen him in action since his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and those who grumble anyway at every time we touch on their favorite character, the American actor must have read a lot of negative comments about his future role before anyone even got to see him in action.

It was through a trailer that Netflix announced the news: The Batman is now available on the SVOD platform! Only small problem… it is currently only the case in Japan. Nothing surprising in the end, given that the film was released in March 2022 and that the French media chronology prevents any release on an SVOD platform before 15 to 17 months after the theatrical release.
If you want to take advantage of it, you will have to log in to your Netflix account on Japanese territory., and know how to speak Japanese or English very well since the only two dubbings and subtitles available are in these two languages. A godsend if you live in the land of the rising sun…
