Studio Be Games announced the imminent release of the third paid addition to the turn-based historical 4X strategy Empire: Greek Wars. Extension Imperiums: Rise of Caesar will open two new territories for players, Gaul and the British Isles.
Two campaigns will be devoted to them, during which Caesar’s troops will try to capture new lands, and the Gauls will try to resist them.
The game version of Julius Caesar will prove to be an ambiguous unit. For starters, the Roman Empire he represents is not a faction. He himself retains the features of an ordinary general, although his presence on the battlefield has a more noticeable effect on the troops. Interestingly, the death of Caesar will not lead to the end of the game, although it will shock the whole world.
