PCGH has already reported on games 1 to 4 at GoG. As part of GoG’s Winter Sales, there’s a free game every few days for three days that unlocks around 3 p.m. After Greak: Memories of Azur comes Worms Revolution Gold as a free game.

Worms Revolution (buy now) is another installment in Team 17’s classic turn-based strategy series for PC, released in 2012, combining 3D graphics with 2D gameplay. The Gold Edition not only includes the base game, but all DLCs such as the Customization Pack, the Mars Pack, the Faire DLC, and the Medieval Stories DLC. Players have the choice between an extensive single player mode that includes both campaign and puzzle missions, or multiplayer mode where you jump straight into battle via local play. Important: Only local multiplayer is possible in the DRM-free version of GoG.

For the first time in the history of the series, Worms Revolution features dynamic water, exploding physical objects and also worm classes. You choose from 4 different classes, namely soldier, scout, scientist and heavier. Players can unlock up to 16 worms (4 of each class) to form their teams. It is possible to bring any combination of classes into battle.
According to the developer, there are the following features:
Change your worms! Customize your worms with a selection of hats, glasses, beards, tombstones, victory dances, language banks and for the first time, cheap jewelry!
Extensive single player mode. Fight your way through 32 single player campaign missions. Would you like to exercise your brain as well as your muscles? There are 20 puzzle missions waiting for you!
Stunning New Landscapes. Fight for survival in over 4 unique landscapes: Beach, Sewer, Farm and Spooky.
dynamic water. Dynamic water plays a role in a number of new weapons and facilities, and can already appear on the landscape during combat.
Exploding physical objects! Physical objects are destructible objects that have devastating effects as some have different properties when they explode. Beware if they release fire, poison or water!
New Weapons. From now on, flush those worms with the new water weapons: water bomb, water gun and water smash. Dynamic water can be drained using the new drain facility. There’s also a Heist, which is used to steal from opponents’ inventory, and the Wrench, which is used to repair watchtowers and physical objects.
