The official Twitter account of thePS3 emulator RPCS3 announced an important step forward in terms of compatibility: Virtually all games load something and no longer crash on launch, or give black screens.
“We are happy to announce that as of today the RPCS3 “Loadable” compatible games category has reached 0!
This means that there are no more PS3 games that only load a black screen on the emulator after launch. So all PS3 games load show at least one image as output.

Making a quick calculation, adding the amount of “playable” games to that of games that get “InGame”, we have a grand total of 96.57% of games that pass the introduction, many of which are perfectly usable from start to finish.
In short, another important goal achieved for the preservation of the PS3 library.
This is the official RPCS3 page, where you will only find the emulator. Of course, to use it you must have the original copies of the games or backups of them.
