In today’s presentation, Xiaomi still presented two surprises. The first is the new Speed Edition of the Note 12 Pro smartphone, which features a 108-megapixel sensor.
The second surprise arrives in the form of the Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition headphones which, with 20 hours of autonomy, promise to “shadow” Apple’s AirPods rivals.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition with 108 megapixel sensor
After the new Redmi K60 series, Xiaomi presents its fans with yet another smartphone. Introducing the new Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition that now hits the Chinese market at an approximate cost of 230 euros.
As for technical specifications, the new Note model has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that provides Full HD + resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 900 nits and even support for HDR10 +.
Inside, the Note 12 Pro Speed Edition houses the Snapdragon 778G processor paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage capacity.
To keep the temperature at reasonable levels, the terminal also includes a twelve-layer cooling system for better heat dissipation.
Powering the new Note 12 Pro is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67-watt fast charging. Like the other models presented, this Speed Edition also runs the MIUI 14 interface, based on the Android 13 operating system.
But the highlight goes directly to the triple rear camera configuration that has a 108-megapixel primary sensor, more specifically the Samsung HM2, complemented by an eight-megapixel ultra wide angle and a macro sensor with two megapixels of resolution.
Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition arrive with 20 hours of autonomy
With a design inspired by Apple’s AirPods, the new Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition arrive exactly to be your main rivals.
Redmi’s new TWS headphones are in-ear headphones with slightly curved tips to adapt to the user’s ears. They also work by tactile control, so just a few simple touches are enough for them to perform certain tasks.
They are equipped with a 12 mm dynamic driver for clearer bass and treble, as well as integrating Bluetooth 5.3 and low latency mode. They are also quickly paired with any smartphone, guarantees the brand.
Each earphone provides an autonomy of up to five hours, but with the charging base this autonomy is extended to up to 20 hours of use.
