After many rumors, behold, Xiaomi’s new Redmi K60 series has finally been officially presented.
There are three new models, K60, K60 Pro and K60E, which are now being made available in the Chinese market. They bring top performance, but more affordable prices starting at 300 euros for the less advanced model.
Redmi K60 Pro: the most advanced model as expected
It had already been widely announced that the Redmi K60 Pro model would be the most advanced of the new trio and Xiaomi came to confirm the information. This smartphone arrives with the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with from to 16 GB from memory RAM LPDDR5 and from until 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. This is, incidentally, the only model to have this type of storage.
To tackle any demanding task, the K60 Pro is also equipped with a 5000 mm2 VC heat dissipation system.
The frontal area is occupied by a screen of 6.67 inches that provides a resolution 2krefresh rate of 120 Hz and maximum brightness of 1,400 nits.
More interesting attributes are in the optics. In the triple rear camera configuration, the model has the Sony IMX800 from 50 megapixels as a primary sensor. This is complemented by an ultra wide angle sensor of eight megapixels and a depth sensor with two megapixels of resolution. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera.
The Redmi K60 is powered by a battery of 5.000 mAh and is the only one in this new series to support fast charging of 120 watts.
The model even runs MIUI 14, based on the Android 13 operating system, and will be available in the Chinese market, starting December 31, with the following prices:

Redmi K60: same screen as the Pro, but with a different processor
In turn, the Redmi K60 arrives equipped with the same screen of 6.67 inches of the Pro model and also with exactly the same attributes of resolution, refresh rate and maximum brightness.
But the similarities stop there. This smartphone houses the processor inside Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 complemented by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM memory and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It is powered by a larger battery 5.500 mAh, but its support for fast charging is limited to 67 watts. It runs the new MIUI 14 interface and Android 13 operating system.
In the triple rear camera configuration, it has a primary sensor of 60 megapixelsan ultra wide angle of eight megapixels and even a macro sensor with two megapixels of resolution.
This model will also be available on the Chinese market from the 31st of December with the following prices:

Redmi K60E: different design and processors
The last model presented was the Redmi K60E that arrives with a different design from its counterparts. It has a rectangular camera module with the three sensors aligned in a triangular shape.
It is also different in terms of specifications, starting with the processor which is the Dimensity 8200 SoC by MediaTek. This one is paired with from to 12 GB of RAM memory and up to 512 GB of capacity on the internal storage.
The OLED screen features 6.67 inches and a 2K resolution, in addition to a 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits.
It also runs the MIUI 14 interface, based on Android 13, and integrates a battery of 5.500 mAh with fast charging support 67 watts.
Moreover, it has a triple rear camera configuration, where there is a primary sensor of 48 megapixels with optical image stabilization, an eight-megapixel ultra-wide angle plus a two-megapixel macro sensor.
